Brett began his Tri-County League career with a bang. He finished 3rd in the Tri-County League's Most Valuable Pitcher Award. He also finished 2nd in The Rookie of the Year Award. He finished the 2004 season going 10 - 1 with 1 save. He pitched 49 innings and struck out 34 batters. His ERA was 3.29. Vroman also hit .455 for ICC that year. He was one of the main reasons ICC finished as the regular season champions with a 28 - 6 record.
Vroman ran into some arm trouble in 2005 but bounced back nicely in 2006. He won 4 games and struck out 30 batters.
Brett was the starting pitcher for York College in the 2002 NCAA Division III Baseball Regional Final game. Brett was a college teamate of Limeport's centerfielder Luke Pile and pitcher Scott Stewart. |
